ok..whats a good PS2 game to buy for a boyfriend? hes goin away soon and i wanted to get him a goin away present....i know he plays madden alot if that helps...a friend suggested the new mortal kombat?

Never buy a videogame for a man unless he has specifically told you which one he wants. That would be like a man going out and trying to buy you a purse. Trust me on this one.
If you want to find out what games he is interested in, bring it up casually when he is playing his PS2 about games that are coming out.

If he doesn't already have it get him God of War.
Okami is also a really great game that just came out.
If he likes role playing games then Final Fantasy XII comes out at the end of this month.
The new Mortal Kombat looks really cool.....but isn't the best game if he's going to be playing by himself.

God of War - Game of the year, rated: Mature
With so many great games, it was a tough pick. God of War, however, claws its way to the top of the list with stellar graphics, lovely music, intense gameplay, and a compelling story. God of War is an action game for grownups. The violence, gore, and mature themes may prevent the kiddies from playing, but the rest of us were stunned by depth and attention to detail. God of War is a contender for best game on the PS2, period. Action game runner-up: Resident Evil 4.

Get him mortal kombat or Battlefield 2, he might like these since their action packed and strategic.

I would go with God Of War, Shadow of the Colossus or Black. Are all great and easy to pick up and play :D

um i would say madden...tiger woods...fifa...or nba 07 if he is a sports type of guy
