Where is the best place to learn about I.t , namely networking in London?

Does anybody know of a good school to go if your experience in I.t is none? Which is the best route 'in'?

if you can swing an apprenticeship with BT then you are on a winner.
If you can't get them try for Cisco and Nortel these are the biggest names in the game across the entire planet.
Technical qualifications with any of these guys will secure you big bucks in the future.
