actually the only one that would scare me at all would be an angry wild reticulated for there size they are very fast. but in captivity they can be very good pets ive got 2 they have never bitten me i also have a yellow anaconda and a green both are very tame though the yellow likes to musk alot which will clear a room. as far as being good pets and being tame there is a tie between red-tailed boa (up to 10 ft females are normal) and ball python (much smaller about 5.5 ft females) but there docileness is totally up to you how you taked care of it feed it and handle it

3 different animals with 3 pretty different lifestyles.

Let's take boas off the list. They don't kill people, while the other two have. Boas are also tree snakes, so in the wild don't really interact with humans much.

I assume we are talking about the giant pythons- Burmese, Retics, etc.? I would be most afraid of the andaconda and it's attack method, as well as it's almost crocodilian use o fthe water to help subdue its victims.

Although, I have to say that none of those scare me nearly as much as the small cobras of Africa and India- small snakes with strong venom that live near and inside houses.

i agree with reptile kid but would just like to add that when choosing a ball python or boa as a pet to be sure that the animal was captive bred and not imported or wild caught... it makes a world of difference as far as temperament and feeding habits go.... (not such an issue with the RTB because the vast majority of them are captive bred.)

to the poster below me.. The anaconda is a part of the boa genius so technically you would be incorrect

the anaconda would scare me the most-have you seen how huge that thing is? it is ridiculuous! i woudl be running for my life and then some!
as for which is the most dominant snake, if i am right it would have to be the python. some pythons are deadly and among the world's leading killer snakes as i watched on the Discovery Channel as well as the National Geographic one.

I would have to say that I would be most afraid of the Anaconda. The size is insane! They seem like something out of a book, doesn't seem real. I don't really know what you mean my "dominant" snake? I suppose which ever one is the biggest would win so....Anaconda
