I don't really know if I should be answering this because I have no idea of how young you are. I will only in the case that if you are young you do not need children at this time and if you are older than information is always a plus. I have been with my husband for 11 years and have never used, well I should say routinely used on a regular basis, birth control. We have two children and have never had any real accidents. The first child we had been together for 5 years and just go careless and it was meant to be, the second one was planed. I am giving you my background only because I want you to understand that I have only used the rhythm method of which you are speaking of regularly. Here is how it works, the week of your period and the week after your period are times of the month that you are less likely to get pregnant because your egg has not released and flown down your fallopian tubes. This by no means stating that it is impossible to get pregnant, because the body can work in mysterious ways month to month, but it is stating that you have fewer chances. The next two weeks you must remain cautious, use condoms, withdrawal, what ever you prefer. I personally will allow the week of my period and the week after but I cut the week after my period short by a couple of days, just to be on the safe side. This method has always worked with us and my husband is in tune with himself and I trust him completely. Just to give you and idea, when we finally decided to have a second child, I figured we would try a few times and then it would happen, so on the first try my husband stayed and that's all it took. We are very fertile, so if it works for us it can work for you to. For more information look up The Rhythm Method and it will give you all the information you are looking for. Good luck

Yes, you can get pregnant on your period. It works just like getting pregnant regularly does. There is a lower chance of you getting pregnant on your period, as usually you don't ovulate another egg for at least two weeks, but some people do it sooner. Either way, it is possible, so protect yourself if you plan on having sex during your period.

No she can't. The egg needs a stable environment, and the uterus durring pregnancy is not one. The uterine wall is breaking down, causing the bleeding associated with a period. Also the egg is only released into the uterus ready for fertilisation after the period is complete.

If you are so worried about getting pregnant, or getting someone pregnant, DON'T HAVE UNPROTECTED SEX! Why is this concept so hard for little idiots to understand??? If you don't know how to use a condom, you are too young to have sex. Jeez!!!!
