The third one left it wide open for a 4th. I've heard that they are going to do a "Wolverine" movie next, most likely.

Either way, yes, I agree with you. Those were some very entertaining movies.

I have to say that on a whole the x-men movies have been one major disappointment after another, the third being by far the worst.

My major criticism being the many plotholes and the emition of key characters...

Where did Gambit go?! He is the love of Rogue's life! (don't anyone dare tell me otherwise)

I read an interview and it was fairly final that there will be NO further continuation to the three movies.

However, there are intentions for character spin-offs...

My only hope is that some kind hollywood soul will decide to do a movie featuring Gambit and Rogue (with a different and better actress for Rogue...a Rogue with a southern accent this time!)

The Spiderman movies I am however, reasonably happy with, really loved the sequel...can't wait for the third installment.

No because they have diluted and distilled the stories down to fit a movie time span. They introduce nightcrawler & colossus and only one makes into xmen 3? Xmen 2 was the best of the three it can only get worse and dont even get me started on spiderman. Gwen Stacey was Peters 2nd girlfriend(after betty ) Mj didint show up for years.

I agree. These small-box comics like Tank Girl, I think it's good that they have just the one movie. But a blockbuster major franchise like Spiderman, Batman, and especially my favorites, the X-Men could go on indefinitely...

...and there was no more obvious casting ever than Kelsey Grammer as Beast. He was perfect, perfect, perfect, perfect. I just giggled and giggled when I heard him say, Oh my stars and garters! =) But they need to write Wolvie some more uses of "bub" and some more women. That's who he is, in love with Jean or not.

NOOOOO!!!

They need to stop with that shite. Seriously.

Those movies are a horrible bastardization of really great stories that Chris Claremont created.

And the characters have been so ruined by all the changes that were made that I was sick to my stomach watching it.
