I am a mother of three and know that one would have a bigger appetite than usual and would be more tired. I am way too tired, hungry and sick. I thought I wasn't resting enough so I took off 2 days. I was watching tv while planning my daily to do list and fell asleep and did not wake till 2:30 pm. I picked my kids up from school fed them and eveything and went back to sleep all night like I hadn't slept in days. I am way too hungry too. I have to eat like every hour or 2. And notjust snacks. iI am eating healthy, but I keep feelinglike I am starving at times. I am at work right now and is struggling to stay awake. What could be up? Any one else experiecing this?

I am only like a month but I can not fit into some ofmy clothes. I am shocked because on the scale I seem to be the same weight I just can't fit into any of my clothes.

Please no sarcastic, insulting comments. i am happily married and have every right to have as many children as I like. they are all very well catered to, and never goes without.

I know exactly how you are feeling. I am 3 months pregnant now with my first baby, and believe
I am feeling hungrier than ever in my life, I eat my meal and after one-two hours I am hungry again, so I keep
snacking on fruits and vegetables so I do not overeat and gain excesive health, plus healthy fruits are better when you are
pregnant.
I am also a working mom and the tiredness I feel at work make me grumpy and put me in a bad mood. It is nothing I can do about it,
but thankfully as time goes by and I go further in my pregnancy, my symptoms slowly get less annoying, or at least I am more used to them.
My nausea is subsiding as well as cramps, but the sleepiness and hungry feeling is the same, sometimes worse than others.
I asked my OB/GYN yesterday about these feelings and she said they are normal and a good sign of a healthy pregnancy, your hormones are increasing,
and in overall it is a good sign. You will get used to it, sounds sad, but that is what we mothers have to go through, we do it happily and from the
bottom of our hearts, it is worthed to suffer all the symptoms because at the end we will be rewarded with a healthy baby!
Congrats!

I also have 3 kids. With my first (a boy) I had morning sickness for four months, I was constantly sleeping, and I did tend to eat a lot. With my second (a girl) I only got sick when I drank tea, I was tired only for the first six weeks, and I still ate a lot. With my third (a girl) I never got sick, I was never tired, and again I ate a lot. I managed to get back to my former weight right after child birth so eating never worried me. I just think every pregnancy is different. Maybe you should do some light excersice when you get up in the morning. This seems to be proven to ward off fatigue for a while. Make sure to ask your doctor first. You may just be feeling this way because of the stress of having to many things on your plate at this time in your pregnancy. Try everything you feel comfortable with anyway.

I was the same way with my second pregnancy, she is now 7 weeks old so I still remember all that well. For the first four months I slept all the time, only got up to do the things I had to. If we went anywhere, usually only to visit family, because of me, I would fall asleep on the way and shortly after we got there. And when I was awake I thought I was starving and ate so much. But then things started to get back to normal, or as normal as they can be when you are pregnant. I would talk with your doctor though seeing as how you have to work, I guess that's where I'm lucky, I did not. I would drink things like milk, because it can help to make you feel more full, just do not drink whole milk, you will put on weight really fast. Hope things get better for you real soon. Congrats on the baby.

This is normal. I felt the same way you did; tired and hungry. I take 2 naps during the weekend and at night, I sleep at least 10 hrs. I'm constantly eating, even when I'm not hungry. Now, I'm 35 weeks pregnant, my stomach is constantly growling even after I ate a sandwich, 5 mini-muffins and an apple. My clothes didn't fit me after 2 months. I thought my stomach is quite small compared to the pregnant females that I've seen on the streets, but last week, my doctor said my stomach is too big for 34 weeks. Today, I'm going in for an ultrasound to check the weight of the baby. I wonder whether my baby has ate everything I ate during these past 8.5 months. I bought XL maternity clothes and they're starting to get tight.

I'm pregnant with number four as well and this one is harder on me than I remember. I'm 7.5 weeks and already having clothing issues too, it's depressing because I'm not the type of person to run out and buy maternity clothes at the sight of a positive test, my philosophy is I have enough time to wear fat clothes and complain about not seeing my feet! But as far as being tired, I think I could sleep all the time if I didnt have to pee, eat, work, and take care of the kiddos. I'm the first one in bed, before my kids, the last one up, and at work I sleep during my lunch hour. I was starving all the time and eating like crazy, I thought I was gonig to explode but I was sooo hungry, well yesterday I started experiencing morning sickness and today it is full blown, so don't stress about that, odds are it will go away! Good luck to you and congratulations!

I saw a comments on here that disturbed me. I, personally, would rather see 4 babies born to people who want them then one born to one who doesn't. God forbide, yet this so often happens. Poor children. You need not apologize for having a baby. That is the first thing. Having 3 children to care for is a big job & being tired & hungry go hand in hand witth being pregnant. Still a check with your Dr. could give you the right information & ease your concerns.Maybe vitiamins or something are needed. Have a health & happy baby. Good luck!

i was exactly the same way you are. from month 1-3. i was tired all the time and hungry. my cloths didn't fit.

my doctor told me that i needed to get more iron and folic ( sp?) in my diet. my iron and folic (?) was low which made me tired. being hungry all the time was normal. he told me to eat more often because i needed the extra calories. don't eat a full meal just eat a little all day, eating just meals made me hungry now that i am eating all day i am not hungry and i haven't gain very much weight from the extra eating. i am 5 months and have gained 10 pounds since the beginning.

as for my cloths not fitting he couldn't tell for sure why, but he said some women who has had children befor, their belly would/does get bigger sooner than those who hasn't had any befor.
i guess getting more iron and folic in your system will help and don't eat meals but snack all day will help it did for me. best of luck.

That's a normal part of getting older + being pregnant + having 3 other kids + change of seasons !!! That sounds like alot. Get yourself some prenatal vitamins, very important to take a walk even a little one every day if you can, if you have to eat every couple hours make sure its something worth eating, no extra caffeine (that's not the answer), lots & lots of water (your gonna pee like crazy) & it's time for everybody to do a little more to help even the kids!
You need something to uplift you emotionally & spiritually right now. I think a change of attitude, a new frame of mind & focusing on HAPPY things will help you stay fresher and not get down or depressed so easliy, cause it is easy to start feeling sorry for ourselves. That always magnifies the worst in everything. Keep your head up you are still a MOMMY, they still love you & look up to you! Get some fat clothes, make an appiontment at the Doctor, get a stock pile of craving foods (hide them) & buckle down cause your in for one more long ride!

I used to be soooo tired all the time I just kept sleeping and sleeping and sleeping for hours! It gets much better after your 1st trimester!
You are such a capable person, working pregnant and 3 children! Best of luck to you every pregnancy is different.
Talk to your doctor about it but I dont think its anything but an exhausted pregnant mother of 3!
