Yes, people do that a lot. But just don't pay attention, the dumbest question is the one you didn't ask.
My History teacher said so and then anytime we had questions in class he would refer us to the textbook.

Lol, i think precisely the kind you do. i'm getting ridiculous solutions each and all of the time. Now, i'm an open philosopher, yet I hate it once I 'by twist of fate' placed the query interior the incorrect class and that i'm getting 7 solutions saying "incorrect class". they did no longer even help a smudge the two. Plus, there became no class for what i became asking. I additionally hate once I submit questions in splendor & kind approximately desirous to decrease my hair "scene". They tell me i'm no longer something extra yet a poser, etc. I published yet another in splendor & kind approximately bleaching my tiny freckles. I have been given 8 solutions, and seven of them suggested I shouldn't bleach them. the different one suggested "it became my determination", which that's. I additionally see some extraordinarily stupid questions approximately right here. nerve-racking ones too. THERE ARE people who ASK QUESTIONS IN CAPS, and there are ones wh0 c@nt $p3LL r!ttee. Or there are people who're only basic dumb, like saying "Chuck Norris is coming" or "Theres a monkey in my pants." while it has no longer something to do with the query. i ought to pass on and on approximately stupid questions and stupid solutions, yet you get my decide on the flow.

Maybe it gives some people an air of superiority to give a dumb answer to a percieved dumb question. It just goes to show how dumb everyone can be without really trying.

I don't know why people do that either. If it bothers you, you might want to talk with her and let her know how you feel. Some people are just Smart A#$@*. Use open communication if it upsets you.
