The sense of time is relevant to the activity. So waiting for paint to dry takes hours, having the time of your life goes by in minutes.
When your asleep you have no concept of time and hence if you sleep for 10 minutes or 10 hours the time lapse appears the same.

It doesn't go faster it just seems like it does cause you don't notice. like at school or work when you get busy and don't look at the clock or your watch. Time seems to go faster.

It doesn't. You really need a good nights sleep! Time goes faster when you get over 50 sleep or no sleep! I know.

Albert Einstein's theory of relativity. time is relative and in this case it is relative to your state of consciousness. The same as when you are in a car and the car next to you is traveling at exactly the same speed as you, if it weren't for the surroundings moving by that quickly you would think you were standing still, its all relative...
