Hi, I caught my husband last night looking thru my dresser and then turns around and says that he was looking for a missing sock (lame excuse). I know that he was lying to me because earlier that day he was looking at my phone. I don't mind him looking at it because I can look at his also but it was just odd behavior. I haven't done anything so I don't know what his looking for. Any suggestions??

Maybe he lost something (he doesn't want you to know about) and he thinks you found it and hid it. Or maybe he's done something and wants to find something that you did wrong, so when you confront him, he can be like, "well, you did this!". Or maybe he's trying to surprise you with something. Was he looking in like a clothes drawer? Maybe he's looking to see what size you wear so he can get you something that will fit. Just be careful on this one, don't accuse him of anything right away. Watch what he does.

OK, I don't know if either of you has a sense of humor, but if u 2 are strong together, and u didn't do anything, you can have a little fun with this. If he's thinking something's going on, and suspects u of cheating, just put about 5 or 7 magnum condoms (open pkg, odd # 1 missing) in your dresser somewhere so it looks like you are hiding them. That will blow his skirt up.. (make sure you tell a friend you did it, of course, to cya) for extra enjoyment, put the # for local movie theatre recording on your phone, with a inital like JS.

He obviously has concerns about something. Why not assuage his fears? Tell him how much you love him. Ask him what he is worried about. Have an open, honest conversation.

Then, impress on him how that kind of behavior makes you feel and ask him in the future to come to you first.

Unless of course, you're having an affair and/or he has another reason to worry?

Sounds like he's guilty over something that he might have done. He's probably looking to see if you have done anything along the same lines. Be wary.

If your innocent of any wrong doings, he will quickly figure this out and end his search of what ever it is he thinks he is looking for. Let it slide and he'll find out that he has nothing to be jealous about.

Maybe he's done something and he wants to see if you have as well. Or, he's planning something and needs certain information. Careful where you tread with this one in case it's a surprise.

I would talk to him about it. Also it is often true that if he is searching for something that you may be hiding, it might mean he's hiding something....be open with him about his odd behavior.

the answer is simple- no trust there- i know how that feels- you shouldnt have 2 spy or check up on someone- and the only reason why you do is because you dont trust them- plain and simple- if there is trust then there is no snooping-
