Now for the verify Engine gentle. Take the vehicle to the factors keep and have the codes study, then come decrease back right here and ask what the codes advise. merely putting it off, or assuming that it fairly is something average, is the silly area, no longer careless, silly. Sounds like you have a bad fuel sending unit. Take the car to a reputable mechanic and have it inspected. It's not a hard fix...they can tell you how much the part will cost...or you can call around places like auto zone, etc and they can tell you what the cost is, and whether or not it's easy to install.

Usually this means that you are driving the car to the point that it is consuming all of the gas in the tank. Go get a little bit more gas.

You are using way too much fuel, or your sending unit is bad, it's in the tank.

It could be as simple as a fuse.
It could be the sending unit in the gas tank.

if it does it immeditaly, then it could be the sending unit, or the wire could be grounding out somewhere.
