When I was still studying in college, i oftentimes feel so lazy to review when the exam week is coming.

What I always do to take-off my laziness is that, a few days before the exams. I do first, things that I really enjoy or like (like strolling in the park or in the mall, playing video games etc.) and then when I'm already tired and fed-up of every good thing & positive thing that I like in that one day, the next day I'll take a good rest & sleep. and then wake-up very early in the morning (around 5 am).

And I always find my self, ready, concentrated and refreshed to review. My laziness were also gone and the time and environment is so conducive that I never felt tired studying/reviewing my lessons.

And of course, when I already reviewed my best. The most important thing to do is to pray and ask God for wisdom and understanding. Trust me it never fails, that's why I graduated with Honors (because of discipline & God's grace) :)

You wil fail, not only at the exam, but in life, lazy people don't usually get far unless they cheat, bully other people to do their homework.

Face it unless you hunker down and get wise, you will never accomplish anything, laziness is not a handicap it is a character trait that can be reversed. Now open your books and study.

Well, I have been having that same problem lately. I usually force myself to go to the library. I can't study when there's noise. It has to be absolutely quiet. I put ear plugs in my ear to block out all sound. I usually make myself a sandwich or two, pack a few snacks, this way I can get something to eat every once in a while. You just have to force yourself. It's really hard but think of it this way: Think of all those student loans you'll have to pay back when you fail.

FAIL! Ha ha just kidding. Study for 20 minute segments and take lots of breaks. A good study schedule for me looks something like this (about 20 minutes for each segment):

Study
Check E-Mail
Study
Take a shower
Study
Eat dinner
Study
Check e-mail/blog again
Study
Watch TV (this one might be longer than 20 minutes)
Study
Go to bed.......
Wake up and Study
Eat breakfast
Study
Go to class and TAKE THE TEST!

That's what works for me!

be certain you get sufficient sleep. you basically must be somewhat drained to lose the thread. consume properly. undesirable nutrition will impression your concentration. Set your self a timetable which you would be able to shop on with, and persist with it. do no longer overdo issues; in case you intend for, say, an hour of revising a morning, provide up after that factor and do something else. in case you tension your self to do it you will finally end up drained. Take popular excercise. clean air will help - even a walk interior the park will do you reliable. you would be wanting to have time for leisure, whether that is going clubbing or in simple terms staring at television. And reliable success!

unless you want to fail, find a way to study that works for you.

everyone has their own way of studying.

do you attend class everyday? be sure to take good notes. try borrowing someone else's notes. they may have gotten something you missed. re-reading notes can be very helpful.

try flashcards. i know it sounds elementary school-ish but you learn and definitions or key dates just by writing them down. then in reviewing them you are strengthening the memory. you can review your flashcards during the commercials of your fave t.v. show!

studying in groups can be helpful but also harmful. be sure to study with someone whose company you enjoy but who is also someone who will buckle down and get the job done!

good luck!
