It was cancelled although it was supposed to finish out its run of shows they've already made.

Cancelled after 3 shows. Only had 5.5million viewers last time on. Sponsors didn't like the premise. The time slot is being filled by CSI re-runs. It wasn't as good as "THIEF" that was on FX last season.

Hi, I read in the paper that "Smith" was one of the early cancellations.

Yes it was. Sucks doesn't it? I was wondering why it wasn't on so I went on line and found out. I guess the ratings weren't good enough. I liked it.
