I WORK WITH THIS MORBIDLY OBESE OH SORRY, THIS FAT WOMAN. SHE CAME INTO WORK TODAY STINKING LIKE DOG POOP. AND IT WASN'T JUST HER BODY ODOR, IT WAS HER BREATH TOO! YOU DIDN'T EVEN HAVE TO GET THAT CLOSE, YOU COULD STAND AT LEAST 10 FEET AWAY AND SMELL HER NASTY BREATH! I TRIED TO OFFER SOME GUM OR MINTS TO HER AND SHE SAID, "I DON'T NEED THOSE, I NEVER HAVE BAD BREATH." WHAT WOULD YOU DO???

Do you have a supervisor? Does she? Do other coworkers acknowledge that this woman has a problem? Assuming you don't own the company, some one should be in charge. You and your coworkers should get together and talk to the supervisor; explain (as tactfully as possible) that you're not trying to be nasty, but it's impossible to work around someone with such poor hygiene, not to mention a possible health hazard. If it's the company owner, the words "health hazard" should get his/her attention. You also might want to consider she has a recently acquired health problem. Maybe they can get her to see a doctor. If you have to work near the woman, I would ask to speak to the supervisor privately about this. Or, meet with Human Resources Personnel and ask them to intervene on your behalf. See if there is a Personal Hygiene code at your workplace. Otherwise, just grin and bear it and bring noseplugs with you to work.
I had a similar situation where there was an obese woman that worked in the same department as me. We had our lunch breaks at the same time. We would all get in the elevator and go down to the cafeteria. By the time we got there, my appetite was gone because of her smell. One day, she smelled so bad that I had to run to the nearest bathroom and throw up! I spoke to the Supervisor and she talked to HR and they talked to this woman and her personal hygiene improved. Talk 2 your supervisor about this employee kindly.
I ya r the mgr in charge or owner of a francised business,
talk 2 the company to see if the employee can get some professional help. If you own the business yourself, kindly talk to her and tell her ya r very concerned about her health and she needs to get some professional help. BE KIND THOUGH!!!

That really SUCKS!!! I would move my seat. Let the manager know.
I had that problem too. Except this fat woman would poop and it'd be on the seat! I finally switched and another lady that did the same thing sat by her. I think when you get old, you lose your sense of smell!

What you did was a good way to bring it up without offending her. Good job. Since this seems to be a problem you should speak with a supervisor who can confront her, and ask her to clean up before she comes back. My husband had the same problem with someone where he works. It was taken care of and no one was hurt.

you need to just mount her and shove the mints down her throat. also, throw balloons at her filled with 1 part bleach and 4 parts water. that'll get rid of the smell. when you're done, splash her with some lemon juice so she smells extra clean.

I worked with a guy like that...after work he would go to his favorite bar and drink until they closed...he never had time to shower or bathe...some other people finally had to go to Human Resources... they took care of the problem..they had to talk to him about it... you may have to do this..

report her to your boss, regardless of her size she should have to come to work clean especially if you deal with the public at all. or you can try writing her an annomous note, be nice so she will listen instead of thinking someone is just being mean
