i have had many dreams of cheating on my husband. And it is not something i think about or want to do consciously. Usually they are boyfriends from my past. I don't have feelings for these men anymore so I don't know why I have the dreams.

With my ex-husband ... I would dream about him cheating on me all the time ... graphic details ... they would be so real by the time I woke up I'd be pissed off at him ... the dreams hurt even though I knew they weren't real ... and I never cheated on him, had thoughts about cheating on him or anything ... so it wasn't guilt like some say ... dreams are weird ... you really don't have any control over them ... tell him before he goes to sleep to think happy thoughts about your relationship ... not sure if they'll ever go away since I'm divorced now ... just re-assure him how much you love him ... and they're just dreams ... !

It's obsessive and possessive. My husband was the same way, only he took it a step further as time progressed. He'd send the kids with me to where ever I was going so that they would give him a FULL REPORT of whoever approached me and tried to talk to me.
Heaven forbid if I ever took my ring off after a shower to lotion myself (cause I didn't want lotion inside the prongs that the diamonds are housed in) and FORGET to put it back on......that was like world war three.
And last but not least, who could forget, EACH AND EVERY FRIEND AND RELATIVE OF HIS (with the EXCEPTION of my father in law) WANTED ME according to him.
Keep an eye on that. It evolves into jealousy, some insecurity, obsessiveness, and possessiveness. I thought it was cute at first, but in summer when I go grocery shopping in a sun dress, and he is 'investigating' me when I get home to make sure nothing happened while I am gone????? Yeah, that's when it got REAL old REAL quick.

Maybe he worries about it and when asleep his subconscious is churning through the information of the day and the dreams are a result. Whatever is on your mind when you drop off to sleep sometimes features prominantly in the dream state.

Dreams are an extension of the sub conscious, maybe he has a secret fantasy of seeing you with another man. Has he ever asked you if your into 3somes? Or maybe he is trying to divert attention away from himself. Maybe he is having an affair himself.

dreams are dreams they come from the subconsious- you cant control them-- people need 2 stop interperting dreams as truth- doesnt mean hes cheating on you or thinks you are cheating on him- he could have saw a jerry springer show and that was the topic and when he went to sleep that was something that happened to resurface from his subconsious- relax its normal- they are dreams

If he is dreaming about you cheating in his dreams, and he has no reason for suspicion in waking life, then he is having problems with insecurity. He may be feeling depressed, unattractive, or ineffective, and may be wondering why you stay with him.

My husband has them and I have them too, I don't think it's a big deal. We always tell each other about them. Sometimes we will actually wake up mad, it's kind of funny later.

Could be from his own guilt if he is cheating on you. That happens lots of times. Be on your guard. Red flag is UP.
