i'm considering buying a nintendo ds .. if you own one..tell me your likes and dislikes of it ?

I have a DS lite in crystal blue. I suggest if you want to buy a DS, get a Lite, not the original one.

DS Lite
Pros: - small, looks good
bright screen
touch interface
creative original games (if you like nintendo games... )
pretty cheap
Cons: - need to buy add-on for mp3 and video player (well some say that nintendo focuses on the gaming experience and therefore music, video and whatnot weren't meant to be used on the DS)
not many games to choose from
most games are "cute" and some would say it's aimed towards little kids... (I happen to like those games)

I'm pretty happy with my DS. I love the touch interface. I have a friend who has a PSP and he's also happy with it. I guess it depends on what you want. If you want mp3 and video, don't buy a DS. But if you want an original gaming experience with the touch interface, then try the DS. Although not all games take advantage of the touch ability....
