I've seen more than enough posts on here about this subject. Doing this is both unsanitary and inconsiderate to other pool users.. The only thing I can guess is that some people weren't raised with good manners.

I don't understand this either. GROSS! That's why i don't swim in public pools! There's a sign on my pool that says: "We don't swim in your toilet, don't pee in our pool"! Even with chlorine it's unsanitary and inconsiderate!

pool have large amounts of chlorine. you are fine. Besides, urine is sterile. It would be different if you pooped.
there is far more bacteria in a lake, than a public pool. it only messes with the ph levels.

I totally agree with you, it's disgusting. Urine is human waste just like feces. Some people have neither manners nor common sense and will be pigs all their life.

I think it's because they believe that chlorine kills all the bacteria and makes it okay.
