There are actually a few ways in which sociologists look at prejudice. The most famous of these is a likert style survey where you basically respond with how comfortable you are with certain activities which can therefore measure prejudice. For instance a question might say....would you be comfortable with a racially mixed couple in your neighboorhood? you respond in an affirmative. Then the follow up would you be comfortable if a racially mixed couple lived next door? and so on... with a variety of different questions. From here sociologists can measure where you might fall among 4 different categories ranging from openly prejudice and secretly predjuice (not scientific terms used) to not openly or secretly with a mix of the other two possibilities. However this is used primarly to determine a type rather than an individual personality.

Sociologists analyze predjuice from a few different theories, with main ones being a culture blame approach, and individual blamed approach, amongst others. These ways try to understand how prejudice is actively occuring in socieites.

There's a test you can take on the internet where it will flash a picture on the screen and ask you to identify things as good or bad. It supposedly can determine how prejudice you are or indicates whether you have a preference for one race/age, etc. I find it highly suspect though.

Sociologists do not measure prejudice as such , they study the social world, institutions,(work, family, politics, etc ) humans, behaviour patterns, (in work, family, society.). as individuals & collectives..Predujice .....differences in .race, class. gender, ethnicity...and the impact these have in peoples everyday lives

I don't know about sociologists.

I don't think you can measure....it's like being a little pregnant.

Either you are or you aren't.
