I am in Peru right now on vacation. We are in Cuzco now resting at our hotel before having lunch at the Plaza de Armas. We went to Macchu Piccu and climbed to the top of the neighboring mountain Haina Piccu and saw amazing view of MP down below. Our pictures are awesome! If you go to MP, make sure you bring bug repellent because we got bit a lot. But overall, we have had such a wonderful time so far and the Peruvians have been gracious and most helpful. Hope you get to come here soon!

I know it's an absolutely fascinating country. The people are wonderful. The gem is Machu Picchu, which even cynics find magical. However there are magificent ancient ruins throughout the country.

There are three main types of landscapes, mountains, jungles and plains. Of course, they all overlap.

If you have more specific questions, or are interested in a special area, I'll try to help.
