Don't forget the real perps of this trend--the fashion designers! They make samples that many starlets try to fit into because they are free (the typical sample size is 0 by the way). Who wouldn't starve themself to fit into the latest from Dolce & Gabbana? Well, I sure wouldn't but many would!

I think that if the public care less for really skinny women, maybe they would get a heathy weight again.

it is the producer's, agents, ect.
the american people really could care less about their weight. We're all fed up with the BS.
