2) The country is probably the world's largest producer
3) The country probably contribures more to global aid than any other country
4) Someone has to be the largest polluter, might as well be the country that is the worlds superpower, donates more money than the rest of the world combined, and has the most freedoms for its people.

It is easy, make all people live within 10 mils of where they work and not allow them the use of a personal car.
Allow only one TV per household and one computer
Houses in moderate climates don't need heaters or air conditioners, they can merely dress warmer in the cold
