i believe it's Lower Earth Orbit, and with a rocket

LEO is short for Low Earth Orbit. It is the area around the surface of the earth extending up to 2000 km. This is where most satelites are found. There are a variety of rockets that can reach the velocity needed to sustain orbit in this region(~ 7800 m/s)
