I'm looking to move out of Reno and go some place with more modeling opertunities... I've been thinking about LA or New York City
Which one would be best and why? I'm new to modeling and I want to start off the best way I can

nyc is the best option, check with the major agencies there like ford, next, img, wilhemina, elite. don't fall for scams that want you to front money for pictures or a portfolio or composites. if an agency wants to represent you it has faith that you will make it money and will get your pictures taken.

Although New York and LA are good places to model. Many beginning models start out in Chicago. There are some big name agencies there. Another place to start is at http://www.modelpages.tv

NY. LA might get you some exposer, but not like NY can. The major fashion names in the country are located in NY. Not to mention Oplimpus Fashion Week! There are alot of big modeling agences with H.Q's in NY. Plus, if you havewhat it takes, a modling agent might send to to Paris or Malan, the big time!

new york has all the important people to jump start your career in modeling. L.A. is for acting! Diddy, JLo, Tyra and so many more stars live there. Trust me It's a great place for a model!

La for sure I know I model too hun. So I actually live in Costa Rica. Nice as hell here. So That mihg be an option for you too.
