you should be sitting with your chair adjusted so your feet are on the floor. If you raise your monitor (or lower it) so that you are looking directly toward it you will have less neck strain. Then if you can - use a chair with arm rests and adjust them so they are just a little support. A keyboard wrist rest that keeps your keyboard at the correct angle is a big help also. Sit back fulling into your chair and don't hunch toward the monitor or the keyboard

whatever feels comfortable to you. I like to keep the screen about eye level.
