one time I was grocery shopping really late. It was like 2:00 am. A man approached me and told me that he needed help. He said that his car needed a jump and he had been waiting outside for 3 hrs and because he was a black man no would help him. He said that he just got off work, and was getting his new born baby some formula and came out to find that his truck wouldn't start. He said he can't call his wife because he didn't have a phone, and he says " i know she is at home worried and wondering why i didn't come home from work" I was relunctant to help in fear for myself, but i deciced to trust him. It was -5 degrees outside and he had been waiting outside for awhile. I drove him to his truck which was in the parking lot of wal-mart, and gave him a jump. I then let him use my phone to call his wife to let her know that he was on his way home. The poor man was frozen I even seen his eyes tear up when i said that i would help him.

i do little things all the time to different people.....like holding the door open for them...pick something up if they drop it......say thank you every chance i get......i do different crafts and i make them then give them away as a "just because" gifts.....let someone on the road get in front of me......we have a grocery store here that connects their shopping carts together with a chain, when you put a quarter in the slot the chain comes off, and when you are done you put the chain back in and your quarter comes back to you, i give my carts away every time i am there (small but very appreciated by people)....i just do things all the time cause i LOVE to make others happy and to see them smile!!!!!
