I assume that you are using Windows XP.
● Goto Start > Control Panel (or Start > Settings > Control Panel)
● Click on Display.
● The "Display Properties" windows will appear.
● Switch to "Desktop" tab.
● Click on "Customize Desktop..." button
● "Desktop Items" window will appear. Switch to Web tab.
● In the box under "Web pages:", deselect all boxes.
● Also, see that 'Lock desktop items' box is deselected.
This should probably solve your problem.
A picture viewer could also be a cause of your problem.
Right clicking on the picture may give some options to help in removing the picture.

Sounds like u r using a picture viewer, full screen. Right click a couple of times, should get a panel up to reduce size, then close. Otherwise, shut down. It shouldnt be there when u reboot

For the 2d part of your question ,ideal click on your laptop opt for properties click on demonstrate saver tab and look for the button marked means and click it this would open yet another window which will provide help to alter close down time to your video demonstrate and not common rigidity (s) set for what you experience is sturdy to your application

Can you take a screenshot so I'll know what you're talking about? Just press Ctrl+Alt+Prnt Scrn. Then paste it into Window's Paint, save it, and upload it.

I assume you probably have active desktop running, disable it and let us know if the issue persists.

you could always press right click and it should say "delete".!..if not you could always crop it.
