I`ve been creating paperdolls since age 11.

Can you tell me what you think of them?
(Note- these are all the same doll, dressed up differently everytime: diff hair, diff clothes, etc.)

I LOVED paper dolls as a child, and cannot seem to get my daughter interested in them. I used to design clothing for them also. Don't give it up, a real wonderful lost art!

That is cool, very fun and low-tech. As a toy inventor I can definitely appreciate such things! Are the clothes cut out from magazines, etc. or do you draw them up yourself?

There is something scratching around in the back of my head that one of the smaller size toy companies recently did a line of paper dolls like this (though probably made of soft vinyl plastic or laminated printouts these days), I'll have to look around for that info.

i LOVE your question! i also really like it that you disclose that you are gay, since i read the question and immediately asked myself (due to your avitar), 'is this some transexual guy or what?'

actually, it would be living art to make transexual dolls and parade them on a table at a gay parade, or at any art show, in fact. you could make paper doctor dolls (female, of course), which are psychiatrists and surgeons. they'd all wear stesthescopes and glasses, and then you'd make paper chaise lounges for the shrinks and surgical theaters for the 'change.'

really, i am not at all against anyone who chooses same-sex partners, but i find it rather strange when a person changes his/her sex, then wants a sex reversal! so for those people, you can market trans-trans-sexual dolls, all with many-sexed clothes.

Your dolls are very pretty. Thank you for sharing them.

I don't know what it is about girls and paper dolls. As someone else stated, I too loved playing with paper dolls as a little girl.

Very interesting!

Maybe you could sell them, or get them displayed at an art show.
