I am trying to connect to a retired military website given in the "Retired Military Almanac" When the "Page not found" message comes up I get switched to this "Upspiral" site.

You downloaded some software that changed some registry settings. If you're handy with the registry, search for "upspiral" in your registry and get rid of the entries. If you're not, use Start > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore to rewind your system to a time when you didn't have this problem. It affects software installations and settings, but not documents that you've created.

Open an internet site > kit > information superhighway innovations> under the final tab > delete information > delete cookies > sparkling background > under the content fabric tab > vehicle finished > sparkling varieties > prepare > ok no person would understand.

You can use a pop up blocker.

change your browser, some browser like opera can otomaticly block pop -up
