Remember? This was the reason for the war...what happened to the soldiers? were they ever returned? i never heard that they were. Wasnt this part of the peace deal to stop the war?

Well Hezbollah hasn't released them yet...And it seems that now Israel is ready to negotiate their release.The negotiations will be supervised by the UN...
Sure after they killed 1000 people and destroyed the infrastructure of Lebanon,they are ready to negotiate...
Yeah right...now I am "really sure" that the soldiers were the reason they started this war...

The soldiers are still in captivity. The Hezbollah wants to trade with Israel for 500 prisoners to be free. Until they get the best deal from Israel the Israeli soldiers will remain in captivity.

The terrorist still have the Israeli soldiers and they have said that the only way Israel will get them back is if the Israeli government frees those in jail that are from the terrorist group as well as those from Ha mas and the PLO.

we are still waitng for gilad shalit to be released.we heard he would be home by our new year.well we have had our new year,but still nothing,as for the others,the germans say that they are still alive but we dont know if they are still in lebanon or if they were taken to iran.israel has closed the egypt border so they wont be able to take gilad out of gaza.he to we have heard is okay and been well looked after.there is another israeli pilot missing for more than 20 years.we dont know if he is still alive ,he is in iran and his name is ron arad,from mikhal in israel.
