Because they are lazy. Then it ends up stinking up the office I'm sure. Burnt popcorn stinks!!!

Probably because the settings on their microwave at home isnt the same as the microwave at work...at home they are used to just pushing the 'popcorn' button or a certain time that works at home like 2:25 or whatever...but at work, its a different microwave so the time needs to be different or maybe that 'popcorn' button isnt there at work...either way ...remember, they are at 'work' and probably dont have time to sit there and wait til its done so it ends up burning...and with burned popcorn...even if its just 25 seconds too long...you can notice the burn smell from 10 cubicles away.

Because they are friggin idiots! Imagine trying to live with those people! I know a lady that was making herself a toaster strudel and she put the frosting on BEFORE heating in the toaster. OMG now you know why there are warning labels on packages. HERES YOUR SIGN.

Its usually for 3minutes or until you hear the kernels stop popping.If they walk away,,take it out & tell them to pay attention.
