I think the euphoria over the World Cup and Italy's triumph (I'm supposing you support the Azzurri), is well and truly over.
The focus now is on Euro 2008, the Champions League and the top Leagues in Europe.
The stories, topics, references to Zidane's headbutt, Italy's triumph, Brazil's failure and Matterazzi's actions, have been visited, several times over.
Raising all these now, is very stale or out of date, like a broken record.
What's been said or done, has been said and done, it's time close the book and write a new chapter.
Football is a fast paced, evolving sport. It continues to move forward, with little time to look back, at its' past glories or failures.
