Yeah I did, but then when I learned it was an accident I thought "Why the hell do they let aircraft fly over such a big city, especially after what has happened!?"

Surprisingly I didn't. I'm a NYer and reading the feed on Yahoo I was thinking the same thing as when I first heard about 9/11- all that destruction, lives lost, etc. Next I thought about stupid accidents. Later, it was the news that made me think "terrorist attack".

Yes, I did, briefly. But then again, that's the same very natural knee-jerk reaction we all had at my job during the Blackout of 2002. Eventually, those of us who have lived through that day, and the years after, will experience enough false alarms that we will take much less time to disregard terrorism as a possibility. For some of us, it may go away entirely. Perhaps.

That is the first thing I thought when I saw the picture online. It is embedded in our brains now. We have seen sooo many pictures of the Twin Towers everywhere, that our minds are just trained to think that.
It was still really sad though

I do, b'cause when I read from cnn the number of casualty was unknown, my first tought was "the american gov tried to hide the informations from public"

Not Me ! I sounded like a terrible accident. I was just glad that no one else was killed. I feel very sorry for the men and their families.
