If the monitor plug is not lose, then you will need a new monitor. Consider a Flat Panel monitor at this point. Visit http://www.newegg.com and you will find some nice 19inch LCD monitors for under $210. I recently bought a number of Samsung LCDs and they all worked out great.

Is it just inside your web browser that pages turn colors, or is everything (including like a word processor or a video game) turning green? If everything turns green, you can try giving your monitor a little thwack on the top or the side. I used to have a monitor that kept turning purple, and if you smacked it hard enough it would turn back. Also, you can play around with the cable and see if that fixes it: it could be a short in the cable. And make sure you don't have any speakers too close, they can make the monitor turn strange colors.

Worst case, your monitor is dying and you have to buy a new one... you can pick a CRT up for about $10 at a garage sale or a thrift store, or get a LCD new for about $200.

You have a loose cable of the cable is cut somewhere within. Had the same problem some time back. Play around with the cable at various points along it and see if it makes a difference. Mostly at the end points.

Some monitors come with a Degauss feature. Press Menu and slide through until you find it. It's when your monitor had come in contact with a magnetized force.

Either your cable is loose/bad or the red gun has died. If so, it's cheaper to get a new monitor that get that one fixed, unless its under warranty.

Don't forget to properly recycle your old monitor if you replace, they have bad things in them.

Could be a bad monitor...if it's under warranty, get it serviced. If not, just buy a new one...it's not worth it to fix it.
