i really like this guy, but i cant tell if he likes me. but every now and again, he will flirt with me. like he will poke me and like tickle me. and at my birth day party, he let me sit on his lap.

It sounds like he likes you but to find out for sure you can ask him to hang out with you or you could ask him straight up. IF your shy then ask one of your friends if they have heard anything about him liking you. Word travels fast, so if he does i'm sure that one of your friends will know about it and then if he does ask him out or flirt back and see what happens. Maybe he'll ask you out. Hope this helps.
