Recently come back from Cape Town, basically same voltage, two and three prong plugs though rounded, it does get expensive buying adapters and will be cheaper to buy plugs and change over when you there, TV's are PAL and should work straight away, make sure you take your electrical goodies from here as they are more expensive there as there are less options for buying, internet market has not taken off over there yet (as that is too expensive for people to have).

Electricity is generally 220/230 volts, 15 amps, and is supplied through either 15-amp three-prong or 5-amp two-prong plugs, in both cases with round pins. If you are a tourist bringing anything electrical, bring an adapter – or you could buy one here. Generally, the 110V video chargers work safely on the 220V supply. Television is on the PAL system.

220 volts. They use large 3 pin plugs similar to the old UK 15 amp ones. You can buy an adaptor or (cheaper) wait till you get there and buy a rewireable plug.
