When you don't even step out of your own home or even answer the phone and everything still goes to h*** in a hat basket?
Got an e-mail from a friend (?) that is straight and was informed that she had had a heart attack because of me. Not because I was gay, mind you, but that she had been trying to understand the life style and couldn't. No! I never made a move on her we just would have lunch now and then and go horse backing once in awhile-just friends. The heart attack was real and I am being blamed-terrific!!!

Whatever, she is probably mad at the world right now, so she is getting angry at the person who she feels closest too, just let her go for now then when she is better, approach her and tell her how much she hurt you! THis is not your fault and your frined is just having trouble dealing with her own life right now be there like a friend should through thick and thin..

Sorry about your friend. Unless you forced her to eat tubs of lard at those luncheons, I don't think you're to blame. That's just ignorant. I'm straight, but I belive in the golden rule, and I would go to campus meetings to support my gay friend, and often there would be people waiting outside after te meetings to point and say "look, there go all the gay people", but whatever. I'd rather be friends with a gay person than with an ignorant bully anyway. She'll get over it.

You are not responsible for the heart attack, I would cut off this friendship. She doesn't sound like much of a friend if she blames you for something that is not your fault.

could you have hit a nerve in her maybe your friend is gay. just seems odd that you're being blamed because she's trying to understand the "lifestyle". What is there to know. we do the same things as straight people, we're just attracted to the same-sex instead of the opposite sex. What couldn't she understand about that.

Sounds like she needs some serious psychological counseling.
Too bad it really isn't that easy though, I'd have quite a list of people I'd want to give a heart attack.

Let it go. She sounds like a nutcase. Why the hell would she worry about "the lifestyle" so much? Who cares? It's none of her business. She needs therapy. She probably also needs to stop eating junk food and get to the gym once in a while.

I think your friend had a heart attack from her psychological issues that caused her to obsess over your sexuality.
I think she needs severe psychological counseling fortunately and evaluations part of her cardiac treatment I am sure.
Make sure her Doctor knows of her psychosis. As a concerned friend you may need to go to the commitment hearings to testify.

Good luck and I will pray for your friend.

She had a heart attack for a number of reasons but none of them had to do with your sexuality.
