Organized. The most reliable media is CD-R. Use the CLOSE SESSION or FINALIZE DISK feature. Then store these in a proper case.

10GB, that's only 8 CD-Rs, so get busy. Keep in mind that your computer or hard drive could FRY at any moment. Not having good backups could mean that you could lose everything.

You really should do it this way:
- Transfer pictures from camera to computer
- BURN CD
- Delete pictures from camera
That way, you have TWO COPIES before deleting them from your camera.

One more tip. For long term archives, do not use a disk label. Disk Labels do not last very well for very long, and could ruin your disks. Instead, mark the CD with a Sharpie Permanent Marker. (some brands will ruin CDs, so go with Sharpie).

Start burnin cds or get yourself a dual layer DVD burner! To begin with, I doubt that you would want all the jpgs due to the fact that 3/4s of them are files you dont even realize you had. Do yourself a favor and burn the ones you want. Dont waste your time burnin every jpeg on your pc!

Google has a tool "Picasa" that will take all your pictures and allow you to burn the appropriate number of DVD's to back up your shots.

You could of course always just do this yourself too.
