I don't know that your information is wrong, but I've never heard of there being anything in the contiguous United States referred to as a jungle. Hawaii would probably be the only state that would possibly have one.

Hawaii and some US protectorates do have jungle areas. Olympic Park in Washington State is not a jungle it is a temperate rain forest.

Hawaii and Florida. The one in Washington State is more of a Rain Forest.

I know I'm being a bit sarcastic but Manhattan really is a jungle, figuratively speaking. Other than that, I've never heard of any.

Florida has quite a bit of "jungle" area. I have worked in some of it. I never saw any elephants or giraffes, but lots of alligators.
