Would you prefer to have a childhood in present times or was you happy enough back when there was no computors etc, and had to make your own fun and games. ( not sure what category this would come under.)

i was happy enough when i was growing up kids dont know how to have proper fun nowadays theres too much technology when i was growing up you used your imagination a lot more than they do now and things like going out to play in the pouring rain and splashing in puddles were fun if a kid these days feel a drop of rain they wont leave the house.
Oh god i feel so old now. sob.

My mum's day-to-day childhood sounds dead boring. Her idea of fun was board games, for christ's sake.
I think we really have to move with the times - accept that we are changing, and deal with it. Nowadays, kids will always choose a computer over Monopoly no matter how hard you try to drum 'the old life' into them. Heck, maybe we'll all evolve to it.

I was brought up without a telly let alone everything else electrical so I can do without them now if I choose to as I had an imagination and still do. My kids will answer differently though, they have pc, telly, dvd player, video player, stereos and lamps in their rooms. Spoilt I hear you say, maybe, but its a sign of the times now isn't it.

We were mostly very happy back in the good old days. We played outside all the time, we had skipping conkers hopscotch to mention but a few

i really wish that they would have had computers back in the day, i love using my comp and i actually use mine to run my business from, everything is in order, all organised and there at the push of a button...i could have learned so much if they existed back then...when i say back then, i mean the 60's...

I really enjoyed being outdoors a lot as a child.
Todays kids seem a lot more disaffected and also spoiled by material possessions by comparison

much better without all the technology, have u seen how much fatter kids are today, they need to get off their fat arses and get sum excerise! didnt need jamie oliver at my school!
