I have a hard time drinking much of anything. Maybe 2 glasses of juice a day ( like a lil over 16oz glass idk the average sized glass) I'm gonna try and drink 8oz of water every 1hr and 30min or more until ive drank 8, 8oz cups. What do you think?

Drinking out of a water bottle always helps me to drink more water than if I drink out of a glass, and it's easier to track how many ounces you have consumed. Maybe you can make some sort of game for yourself to motivate you to continue...some type of small reward for drinking 64 oz in a day or everyday for a week...

Yeah I agree with the straw theory! I am doing that now cause I don't think I drank enough the first halfof this pregnancy. I have one of those venti clear cups from starbucks and I jsut keep filling it up and before I know it i have had three full 20 oz things of water which is my daily supply. The straw make syou drink faster. Good Luck...water is good for baby!

Don't drink too much juice during pregnancy. They have a lot of sugar in it which can cause diabetes. Pregnant females get diabetes and high cholesterol quite easily because they eat and drink almost anything. If you're like me and doesn't like drinking plain water, you can buy crystal light. It is 100% sugar free and 99% caffeine free. All you do is add crystal light in your water. I love the lemon tea flavor. You can't tell the difference from the regular lemon tea that you buy at the supermarket.

Don't make yourself sick on it... that's all I can suggest. If you do, you'll subliminally start to associate the two, and have a harder time with it.

But... if you need a mantra, here's a good one:

"Water: If it's good enough for your dog, it's good enough for you."

We had a weight-loss challenge at work, and I was in charge of creating motivational posters. That's what I came up with.

I also try to think of water-drinking as giving the inside of your body a bath. Strange, but it's true... if you can't clean the outside of your body without water, how can you ever clean the inside?

ah ihate water and its bland taste, I am pregnant and doctor says I need to drink more, so I do this I put a water bottle with a peice of lime or lemon in the bottom, and put it in the freezer to make it almost like a slushie its great but make sure you shake it up pretty good :P and its really cold so it doesn't taste as bland.

If you have access to a water cooler, get a big cup and keep it with you at all times. Fill it from the cooler periodically throughout the day.

Get water bottles. When I have bottled water I tend to drink more. It's easy to take with you wherever you go and it tastes better than tap water.
