When it was due for me to get the next shot i didn't take it and i had my period the next month. I was on the depo shot for three years (didn't bleed at all for 3 years)....I started as soon as i was off that shot to get pregnant and i did.... A year later...

It can take someone from a few months to a year to become pregnant after taking the depo shot.

When you do get your periods back go to http://www.mymonthlycycles.com and put in your period info and it will calculate when you will be fertile and ovulating.

It will take just a bit of time for the shot to get out of your system. Not months though.

You probably won't be able to conceive for a while, if your last depo shot was 2 weeks ago it's gonna take some time. It all depends on the strength of the shot, the length of time you've been on depo and your body's metabolism. If you really want to know you should talk to your doctor. Thats probably the best answer you're going to get given the limited information you've provided, I'm a nurse.

it depends on your body. I was on the depo for a few years , when I stopped so I could have a baby, it took a year for my period to regulate and a few months to get pregnant. But yes you can become pregnant so make sure he wears a raincoat.

Every woman has a different response to the shot...took me 18 months and I found out that the shot has stopped my body from ovulating ans I had to take clomid to get pregnant.

Odds are no, you shouldnt be able to get pregnant until you resume a "normal" period. Often times it takes 6 months to resume a period. However this isnt the case for all women and anything can happen, it really depends on your body.

With the shot it usually takes longer to conceive after you have been off of it. Sometimes it can take up to a year. However remember every woman is different and it could be only a few short months for you.

Good luck to you.

I became pregnant while I was on the shot, so I don't see why you couldn't become pg coming right off it.

CHEYANNE, IT DEPENDS ON YOUR BODY, MY DAUGHTER WAS ON IT, AND SHE STOPPED, AND SHE DIDN'T GET HER PERIOD AND IT WAS 3 MONTHS ,SO SHE GOT ON THE PILL, AND NOW SHE GETS HER PERIODS RIGHT ON TIME EVERY MONTH.
