I heard that a woman is pregnant of a second or so child the oldest kids get jealous well I have tooked care of my knephew since he was born and know that am pregnant he hits me and cries if I try to get him he is only 6 month's.

He is only 6 months old? Well then maybe he just doesn't like you because you're you and not because you're pregnant.

Six months old and he supposedly knows that you are pregnant and he hits you????? Sounds strange to me. Do you really think he would be showing jealousy over a pregnancy at 6 months old and that he even knows about it? Come on !!!

That was mean what the first person who answered wrote... goodness. Well, if your nephew acted like this, is it the first time, or something new? Because infants have stages where they only want mommy or daddy. and in my case, my three yr old would not even let ME pick him up for about two weeks, only his daddy, so dont be offended. OR, maybe your perfume was to strong, the color of clothing your were wering was what he reacted to, or maybe, he was simply in a bad mood or has ear infection. But, dont take it personally and just love him and dont wworry, cause your hormones are a bit out of wack right now, :)

I don't think it has anything to do with being pregnant-he's going through a normal developmental cycle, trying to be more independent, testing to check his limits, and yours. Just keep being there for him, don't get mad or hurt, kids do this stuff all the time, and if you can be consistant and loving, he'll get over it. It's just a phase.

Why would you be upset that a 6 month old baby "doesn't like you"? Most babies don't like being separated by their mom at this age. It's a BABY!!!
