No. Most of the time when they're born with the peachy fuzz, it does fall out. But not all babies born w/ lots of hair lose it. My two children that were born with a lot of hair kept it. It just depends on the baby; don't think there's any set rule tho.

most babies do lose some hair after being born. This is usually due to where the head has rubbed against the mattress but dont worry it doesnt take long to grow back. xx

I have heard yes that it is more common for them to lose than to keep. However, good news.. my son is 6 mos old... born with a good amount (but not TOO much! lol) and he's still got it and it is beautiful. So I think it goes to say that it's in their Will just like everything else and we may never know until whatever happens happens!!!

Some babies do and some dont. I had four children 2 boys with peach fuzz and 2 girls with full heads of hair which none fell out. So I hope I have helped a bit. Take care.

yes, some kids lose hair but it depends on how they sleep, but it generally grows back.

For the person who said that babies don't have hair when born you are wrong also it depends on ethnicity also.

No, although a lot do. My daughter lost most of her very long, dark hair she had at birth to become a wispy haired blonde... My friend's girl kept all of her dark locks and at 6 mths was putting them in pigtails. I still cant do that with my girl who's going to be 1yr old in 2 wks. Less work for me that way, so it's Ok. :-)

No, my daughter kept most of her hair. She did rub a bald spot in the back when she started really moving her head, but even then it's wasn't completely bald, just fuzzy.
