I know I need to ask my doc this, and have, and called his nurse! But, I still worry about him not growing properly. I thought that at this stage (7months) that my belly would be showing a lot more. It looks pregnant, but it doesn't seem big enough to hold a baby that weighs anywhere from 2-3pnds, and is about 15in. (so I've read?). The nurse says I'm doing good, and everything looks the way it should. The ultrasound was all fine too at my 20wk appt. But what if he's not growing the way he should AFTER that? He moves A LOT, but I thought soemthing that big in my tummy would FEEL heavier and show more by now? Thanks, this is my 1st by the way, I'm sure you can tell!!!!

Just because u have a small stomach doesn't mean that the baby is not growing properly. I have seen plenty of woman that were in the last month or two of pregancy and looked like they were 2 or 3 months along. Every woman carries baby's different. Don't worry if u don't have to.

I can tell you this, with my 1st I lost weight and at the end of 9 months couldnt tell I was pregnant. He was a healthy 6 pound 3 ounce boy.. My second the same way I only gained 15 pounds was not big at all just a little belly. He was also fine 7 pounds. I am not skinny by any means. If you are larger framed then that would be why and sometimes even skinny people dont get big either. I am sure your baby is fine the doctor would have talked with you if their was a problem. GOOD LUCK and Congrats..

there is a website www.babyzone.com that has a bunch of great info. on the left hand side of the screen there is a ages and stages part. select how far along you are and it will tell you how your pregnancy should be going for the most part. it was very informative and helpful when i was preg. with my first one. if your dr. says everything is fine and you can feel baby moving, then probably everything is fine. some people don't show very quickly. i had just lost 50 lbs when i got preg. and i showed really quickly but think it was because my body was "loosened" up. if you've always been small then you may not show "big" for a while. enjoy your preganancy and baby!
