check the fuse, maybe its just burned out.
it could be the wires coz radio active material melts rubber when expose to heat for a long time. so u got to change the wires.
make sure u dont expose ur flux capacitor to dust, coz dust could minimize the radio active effect of ur plotumium. when i travelled back in 1450's, dust ruined my flux capacitor and i almost didnt make it back. So dust is not ur friend.

Did you make sure you got your plutonium on shady terms with foreign nationals?

Another thing you might want to check is to be sure Einstien didn't chew on the cables or urinate on it.

I would also ask Marty if he took it on a joy-ride recently, but Biff may be your most likely candidate.
