Hi,

I have an idea for a website but I am not sure how to look for the necessary info if I want to know for sure that it has not been created already.

Is there any website online that I can check for this?

Is there a registration idea for websites besides and the registration and patent website?

Any refferences on how I can check this out? or where I can go to verify it before I start working on it?

I would appreciate if you could detail whatever you think can be valuable on this.

Thank you!

All you can really do is use Google to search for terms relating to your idea. To be honest, there are so many websites out there that its likely at least some will be similar to whatever you have planned. However, dont let that stop you.

This is a task that is too often unproductive. It can sometimes be difficult to find the right "terms" to search. AFAIK there is no website that has a list of websites already in existance, and any website which displayed good ideas would be a playground for thieves.
Your best bet is to narrow your idea into keywords and terms and search through all search engines and directories to see what you find.

Good luck, I too have many ideas that are just sitting and waiting for me to build them.
