does any woman out there have a lack of thyroid?

my doctor tested me for a lack of thyroid the other day and i was just wanting to know what it is. and any thoughts you may have about it.

Do you mean underactive thyroid? If so, it's pretty common. It's called hypothyroidism and can easily be treated by meds but you have to remain on them for the rest of your life.
