My fiance has joint custody with his son. This year he has spring and fall breaks. The visitation guidelines say to go by the alternate school calendar as to when the fall break starts. The last day of school was friday so would fall break start on that friday when school is out or on that next Monday? Last year his mother said it starts on that friday but now this year she is saying it starts on Monday cause his dad has him. What a hipacrite? Tell me what you think. Thank You very much.

When I went through this with my ex-husband, the papers were more specific, saying Friday at like 6:00 p.m. was the pickup time. Then the date for return and by 6:00 p.m. All my friends had there divorce decrees/custody papers the same way.
Perhaps contact the attorneys office if you can, or call the Court in that county/state and ask their advice. Usually, a district court handles this, but ask around. Maybe there is a standard guideline which can help when things aren't specific.
I would guess it would be Friday at 6:00 p.m. since I have known so many people going to pick up there kids for visitation, but check it out.

I have visitation with my daughter and Fall Break starts on friday when school is out usually at 6 oclock. Dont listen to his mom call the courthouse and ask them, I have a list of visitation I always keep handy in case I need it you should do the same, saves on alot of confusion. If you have joint custody you should be able to see him whenever you want anyway.
