Any front alignment problem or underinflated front tire could cause a pull to one side on braking.
Other causes are part of the brake system: although you say your brakes are good, I assume you just mean they have enough pads or linings on them.
A bad rubber flex line can restrict fluid to one side, making it pull to the opposite side
A frozen caliper will not brake corectly, making it pull to the opposite side.
Leaky rear wheel cylinders can soak down rear brake shoes making a pull to one side
If the pedal is low, there could be air in the system somewhere
The proportioning valve system or antilock brake system may have a problem.

Normally a car will pull to one side when when the brakes are applied meaning it needs an alignment. Might want to check the air pressure in your tires this can cause some of it as well. Check around with different places on price of alignment they can vary a lot.

Have your alignment checked. I only know a few things about cars, but thats what I thought of first. Maybe something is up with your steering column as well. Be careful. Dont put any kids in the car until you know for sure though and wear your seatbelt.

Usually it is because of a tyre being under inflated. If it happend suddenly could be track rod ends (not too expensive) or if it is only when you brake, get the brakes checked.

Either proportion valve or incorrectly installed brakes or brake parts. Could also be a defective caliper. If it wonders while driving then it might be alignment.

Sounds like your tires have bad air pressure. Try putting the correct air pressure in them.
