I'm getting a degree in Chemical engineering and will apply for a job in the industry next year. Currently working in the cafeteria for work study and as a teacher's aid. I'm a liberal. I'm from LA and don't know too many Republicans.
What the hell is the deal with Koolaid? I'm tired of hearing that phrase.

of course dems have jobs, and yes repubs collect welfare. don't fall into the trap of politicians. being a dem you are suppose to like abortion, and welfare. being a repub you are suppose to be against welfare and abortion. personally i know a lot of dems who say they are dems yet they don't believe in the right to choose. then there are repubs who believe that welfare is an important part of our society. don't assume that because someone has an R or D next to their name that they can't think for themselves

I dont think that is a fair question. I am republican and have a job but I think the democrats are just a little too worried about lazy people and letting them keep there way of life. Maybe they should worry about them selves and there state of mind.
