There are many websites that offer tv programs in either streaming or downloadable form. www.allsimps.com, for example, has available all the simpsons episodes to date. If you want to watch a feed on your computer, as if your monitor was the TV, what you need is a TV Tuner card. They are specially designed video cards that can accept a coax connection (like a cable TV line). They can be finicky to operate, you're easiest course, if you've got the money, is to buy a ready-made "media-center" PC that comes pre-set-up for viewing.

You can buy a TV card (analog or digital; cable, terrestrial or satellite - you have to figure out which type you need), install it on your computer and then just plug it in and start watching. There are USB tv-tuners available so you don't have to open your computer if you don't want to.

Ok, I had a program that was called "WinZip" I bought it at Best Buy, and it worked pretty good. It wasn't that expensive. One of the koolest features was that you could take pictures of the show that you were watching!

Hope this helped.. I actually don't have my tv on my comp anymore.. so if you want the software, I will send it to you if you cover the shipping and handling.. Email me about if you want to.

You need a TV card. Go to your local computer store and ask a sales representative if they sell them. They'd be able to direct you better than anyone on Yahoo! Answers.

It's called "IPTV" (iptv). My computer here at work allows me to watch news only. The software is by Cisco Systems but not sure if they still make it. Cisco Systems IPTV is what it's called. There are so many others out there. You could go to Best Buy or Circuit City to find out more about what it does and how much it costs. Good luck!
